And now for some more fun...

Skottustelpa had an eventful day yesterday. She was greatly supported by her friend Virtuosa.
I don't think I could have done it without her. The night before my job interwiew I was mostly stressed about how I would get from the interwiew to the gynocologist afterwards in record time. My friend Virtuosa decided to distract me with her humorous versions of Snow White and Bukolla.
Those who don't know Bukolla are missing out.
Virtuosa eventually gave up on the story telling, declaring that I was a hopeless control freak who wouldn't let her tell the stories without constantly correcting her.
Tough love, they call it, this caring way of confronting ones flaws.
Anyway, it worked, I slept like a baby after laughing a lot before going to sleep.

Eventful day will not be described at the time being, other than the trip from there to the gyno was taken in a taxi. Taxi guy was a talkative guy from Bulgaria. He told me he had met Gudmundur Jonasson 20 years ago.
Those who don't know Gudmundur Jonasson are missing out.

Wow, it seems like there is a lot of missing out. I will not tell you guys about my yesterday because my boyfriend hasn't heard about it yet.
No, I'm not prego.

ps. am having ethical concerns regarding the American War.
I don't like the fact that I am Icelandic (at an un-ethical war),
live in Denmark (at an un-ethical war),
and am visiting the States (at an un-ethical war).

I don't know how that happened but am allmost equally traumatized by it as the people of Irak are by their vulnerable existance right now.
I can't deny that I have resentments regarding the matter, I am especially resentful at Mr. Bush, Mr. Fogh Rasmussen, Mr. Oddson, and Mr. Mason.

Those who don't know Mr. Bush, Mr. Fogh Rasmussen and Mr. Oddson are not missing out on a thing.

I doubt that many Americans have even heard the names Mr. Fogh Rasmussen and Mr. Oddsson.
I won't comment on Mr. Bush as an aquaintance was recently arrested in the States for having a t-shirt on that read "Give Peace a Chance", quoting Lennon.

How did this happen to us, that I am born here and them over there?

Did you guys know that 75% of the Iraki nation is under the age of 25?
There are sites being bombed in Irak containing our worlds cultural heritage, some of which archeologists haven't even finished diggin up. That is though only a fraction of the worth of a human life.

The scary part is that friends of mine in the States are forwarding pro-war e-mails.

Enough with the drama, any sane person is against this war and ethnic/religious profiling. Anything else is ignorance and fear. Let's start aborting alcoholic fetuses...
Barbara, I guess Betty Ford didn't do the trick. It didn't do it either for Mr. Oddson.
